Nancy E. Stickney

Nancy E. Stickney, 86, lifelong resident of Milford, died on June 1, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Amherst, NH on September 25, 1926, a daughter of Frank and Eva J. (Smith) Crooker. Nancy had worked at Hayward’s Trading Post in Milford for several years. She enjoyed snowmobiling with her late husband, watching old movies and especially shopping at Macy’s. Nancy was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her family, enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and adored her great grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Willis E. Stickney. Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Barry S. and Katherine M. Stickney of Milford; a granddaughter, Heather M. Stickney of Lyndeborough, NH; a grandson, Jonathan W. Stickney and his wife, Danielle of Milford; a great grandson, Cameron J. Stickney; a brother, Wesley Crooker of Milford; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7th at 2:00pm in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Red Cross of New Hampshire, 2 Maitland Street, Concord, NH 03301 or to the charity of one’s choice.
