Nancy A. Walsh

Nancy A. Walsh, 73, resident of Brookline, NH, died April 2, 2012 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born in Pawtucket, RI on October 4, 1938, the daughter of John M. and Hilda G. (Gregory) Doll. Mrs. Walsh made her home in Brookline for almost 40 years. She was a graduate of Bryant College in RI and following graduation, she taught high school for several years. She was an Administrative Assistant and retired from BAE Systems, Nashua, NH after more than 20 years. She enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and mahjong. Most especially, Nancy loved spending time with her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, David A. Walsh, who died in 2001. Family members include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gregory Povey of Bomoseen, VT, Jay and Trisha Povey of Hampstead, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Ginni and Jim Plourde of Greenfield, NH; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Dorothy Doll of Cranston, RI; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Roland Mederios of Swanzey, MA; and a niece. Memorial visiting hours are Wednesday, April 4th from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am in the funeral home, followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline.
