Muriel M. McMahon, 79, resident of Nashua, NH, died October 30, 2009 at Crestwood Care & Rehabilitation Center, Milford, NH. She was born in Nashua, NH on October 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Raoul G. and Marie (Danjou) Bonnette. She was raised and educated in Nashua, NH. A graduate from St. Joseph�s School of Nursing where she became employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for St. Joseph Hospital for many years. Mrs. McMahon resided in Nashua, NH for most of her life. She spent many summers at the family camp in Hillsborough, NH, while wintering in Northport, FL. She was an avid golfer and member of the Venice East Golf Course. She was devoted first and foremost to being a mom and lovingly caring for her children and grandchildren. Mrs. McMahon enjoyed the outdoors, skiing, golfing, gardening, and cooking. Her fondness for animals found her raising many German Shepherd puppies. Also, a great deal of her time was spent helping others. She was predeceased by her husband, John A. McMahon and their son, Brian R. McMahon. Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Eileen L. & Dennis Rodier of Francestown, NH; four sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen J. & Encarnita McMahon of Madrid, Spain, Joseph R. & Anne McMahon of Marshfield, MA, Andrew A. & Kellene McMahon of Milford, NH, Cheryl McMahon of Nashua, NH, and James L. McMahon of Allentown, PA; 15 Grandchildren; a brother, George Bonnette of Barton, VT; a sister, Laura Goulette of Nashua, NH; several nieces and nephews, including Anne Goudreau of Hudson, NH, and Robert Goulette of Riverside, CA. There are no visiting hours. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 9th at 11:00 am at St. Patrick�s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall. Burial will be in St. Patrick�s Cemetery, Amherst, NH in early spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064-8109.
