Miriam A. “Molly” Trombly of Milford, NH, passed away on March 29th 2018 at the age of 91 years old. Molly was born on November 6th 1926 in Hudson, NH. She was the daughter of Herbert A. Shepherd and Mary Etta (Perkins) Shepherd. She was predeceased by her brother, Norris Shepherd of Peterborough, NH. Molly was a graduate of the Nashua School System and Houle’s Hairdressing Academy. She worked as a hairdresser until she married Stanley E. Trombly in 1946. Molly is survived by their four children, Stephen T. Trombly (Darlene Desrochers Trombly), Stuart G. Trombly (Diane Jennings Trombly), Linda A. Ecklund, Mary Jane Trombly; and by Susan (Farrington) Trombly. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Sean Trombly, Sarah Trombly Brown, Sam Trombly, Becky Trombly LeBlanc, Abby Kershlis, and Carrie Forbus; and also by six great grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey, Seth, Madelyn, Olivia, and Levi. Molly was an avid cook and gardener. She enjoyed painting, sewing, rug hooking, and loved time spent at the beach. A graveside service will be held on April 21st, 2018 at 2:00 pm in North Yard Cemetery, North River Road, Milford, followed by a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Share Outreach, Inc., 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055, Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452, Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064 or to the charity of one’s choice.
