Michal G. “Mike” Everett, 84, resident of Milford, died on September 12, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada on September 6, 1929, a daughter of William and Grace (Edwards) Wood. Mrs. Everett made her home in Milford for more than 60 years, where she and her husband raised their two children. Mike was active in local and state politics and for many years had been a member of the Young Republicans. In 1980, she ran for Governor of NH as a Libertarian. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald C. Everett, who died in 2007. She was passionate about painting and much of her work was exhibited in local art shows but her times of greatest joy were those spent with her family. She was a member of Community Chapel, Nashua, NH. Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberley and Arthur Martin of Mont Vernon; a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Janet Everett of Derry; nine grandchildren, Emily Reardon and her husband, Patrick of Brookline, MA, Tyler Martin and his wife, Katie of Mont Vernon, Casey Cormier and her husband, Anthony of Stratham, Jennifer King and her husband, Jake of Manchester, Christie Chapman and her husband, Colin of Rye, NY, Andrew Everett and his wife, Bethany of Manchester, Timothy Everett and Nathan Everett, both of Lynchburg, VA, Katherine Everett of Derry; eight great grandchildren, Delaney, Liam and Rowan King, Jack and Natalie Chapman, Morgan Everett, Zoe Martin and Colby Reardon. There are no visiting hours. A celebration of her life will be held on September 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Community Chapel, Five Saint Laurent Street, Nashua, NH. Her son, Pastor Craig Everett, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Visiting Nurse Association, 1070 Holt Avenue, Suite 1400, Manchester, NH 03109.
