Michael N. Couturier

Michael N. Couturier, 51, resident of Milford, NH, went into the loving arms of his Lord Jesus on March 5, 2012 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Nashua, NH on May 6, 1960, a son of Marcel Couturier of Nashua and Margaret (Wilmot) Gibbons of Milford, NH. Mike was raised and educated in Nashua, NH. He had lived in Milford for the past 13 years and formerly resided in Amherst, NH. He owned and operated Hi Fi Exchange of Nashua, NH and more recently of Milford. Mike enjoyed fishing, building models and loved all types of music. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his famous words of wisdom. He was a member of River of Life Church, Amherst and his greatest joy was serving and knowing Jesus. He loved leading others to know Jesus as personally as he did. In addition to his parents, family members include his wife of 24 years, Kristy L. (Avery) Couturier of Milford; two sons, Stephen M. Couturier and Andrew J. Couturier, both of Milford; three brothers, Matthew Couturier of Sandown, NH, Mark Couturier of Francestown, NH and Marcel Couturier, Jr. of Antrim, NH; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Beth Avery of Milford; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Visiting hours are on Thursday, March 8th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 am in the Amherst Christian Church, Route 122 Hollis Road, Amherst, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
