Maureen P. Coy

Maureen P. Coy, 56, resident of Milford, died unexpectedly on December 30, 2012 at her home. She was born in Cambridge, MA on January 22, 1956, a daughter of Patricia T. (Hurley) Bradley of Somerville, MA and the late Robert X. Bradley. She was raised and educated in Somerville, MA and graduated from Nashua High School, Nashua, NH. Maureen made her home in Milford for the past 25 years and had been employed as a cafeteria aide at the Milford High School. For several years, she was a host mother for exchange students. In addition, Maureen enjoyed reading and most especially loved spending time with her family and two dogs. Maureen was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford. In addition to her mother, family members include her beloved husband of 31 years, Myrton G. Coy, Jr. of Milford; her loving daughter and daughter-in-law, Kristen Lee Coy and Laura Coy of Nashua, NH; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Philip and Vicki Bradley of Lafayette, CA, William Bradley of Pembroke, MA, Richard and Mary Bradley of Reading, MA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Diane Bradley of Somerville, MA, Dorothy and Tom Hartnett of Medford, MA; three step children, Michael, Michelle and Gregory; many nieces, nephews and several uncles. Calling hours are on Wednesday, January 2nd from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, followed by cremation.
