Mary V. Combs

Mary Virginia Combs, 85, of Greenville, NH died February 21, 2013 at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Mt. Rainier, Maryland on July 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George William and Emma Mae (Gibson) Crump. Mrs. Combs worked for Science Service in Washington, D.C. until she became a homemaker. Her greatest passions in life were her family, fishing, gardening and crocheting. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, William Clayton Combs in 2007 and her son, Robert William Combs in 1992; her brothers and sisters, George William Crump, Jr., Guy Crump, Alma Louise Combs, Robert M. Crump, Bernard Crump and Florence Mae Gelvin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Lee and David M. Courage; three grandchildren, Christopher Courage, William Courage and Kelly Ann Clark; two great grandsons, Colby and Jordan Clark and a great granddaughter, Emma Jean Clark.
