Mary M. Proctor

Mary M. Proctor, 89, resident of Peterborough, NH died December 1, 2009 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. She was born in Clinton, MA on September 11, 1920, a daughter of the late Joseph M. and Mabel G. (Lincoln) McCaffrey. Mrs. Proctor resided in Peterborough, NH for the past 8 years and formerly lived in Milford, NH for more than 50 years. She had been employed as a retail clerk for the former Jordan Marsh Company in Bedford, NH. Mrs. Proctor was a communicant of St. Patrick�s Church, Milford and a member of the church choir and Catholic Women�s Club. She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother and cherished time spent with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray A. Proctor and their daughter, Mary Gail Proctor, two brothers, Joseph McCaffrey and William McCaffrey. Family members include two sons, Jonathan Proctor of Keene, NH and Stephen Proctor of Wilton, NH; five daughters, Martha Lamminen of The Villages, FL, Jane Bowman of Peterborough, NH, Patricia Kelly and Dawn Moore, both of Milford, NH and Marjorie Quinlan of Antrim, NH; 19 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; and one Great-Great Grandchild; a sister, Helen Goodwin of Texas; many nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 4th at 11:00 am in St. Patrick�s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.
