Mary Kathryn (Wahula) Caruso, 93, died peacefully Sunday, November 9, 2008 in Milford, NH.� She was born in Gates, Pennsylvania on March 6, 1915, the daughter of Jozef and Kathryn Wahula.� She was the beloved wife of the late Demetrio Caruso who passed away in 1955.� Mrs. Caruso was a resident of Milford for the past thirty years and was one of the original residents of Beechbrook Apartments.� Prior to her retirement in 1978, she enjoyed a successful career at Royal Globe Insurance in Manhattan, NY.� After her retirement to New Hampshire, she enjoyed volunteering in the local schools, reading, gardening and especially crocheting.� Throughout her years, Mary crocheted hundreds of beautiful blankets and hats for family, friends and local charities.� Mrs. Caruso was a communicant of St. Patricks Church, Milford and a member of the Rosary Altar Society.� Besides her husband, two brothers, Matthew and Walter Wahula and two sisters, Anne Wahula and Bernice Cope predeceased her.� Mary is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and John Esposito of Mont Vernon, NH; one grandson, Lt. Col. John Esposito and his wife, Deborah of Fayetteville, NC; three granddaughters, Denise Dubois and her husband Loren of Mont Vernon, NH, Lisa Groeneveld-Meijer and her husband Nicolaas of Issaquah, WA, Kristen Blow and her husband Sean of Nashua, NH; thirteen great grandchildren, Raymond Atkins, Thomas Esposito, Nicholas Esposito, John Andrew Esposito, Isabelle-Rose Esposito, Melody Anne Esposito, Jacklyn Dubois, Victoria Dubois, Patrick Groeneveld Meijer, Willem Groeneveld Meijer, Jack Groeneveld Meijer, Logan Groeneveld Meijer and Noah Patenaude; six sisters, Sophia Stys of Plymouth, MI, Josephine Parks of Greys Landing, PA, Helen Machesky of Solon, OH, Wanda Richinosky of Bedford Heights, OH, Louise Zelina of Masontown, PA and Loretta Arthur of Brook Park, OH; many nieces and nephews.�� There are no calling hours.� A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 12th at 10:00 am in St. Patricks Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH.� Burial will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery, Amherst, NH.� The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Share Program, P.O. Box 27, Milford, NH� 03055.�
