Mary Dugan

Mary Dugan, 84, resident of Wilton, NH, died January 5, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Liverpool, England on August 18, 1926, a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Finnegan) Green. Mrs. Dugan resided in Wilton for the past several years and formerly lived in Milford for many years. She and her late husband owned and operated Milford Antiques for 25 years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, sewing and most especially loved spending time with her family. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Dugan was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis J. “Frank” Dugan, who died in 2004. Family members include a son, Christopher P. Dugan of Windsor, NH; three daughters, Maureen C. Dugan and Louise D. True, both of Wilmington, NC, Carol M. Carter of Wilton, NH; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 7th at 1:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Amherst, NH, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Share Outreach, 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055.
