Mary A. Charbonneau, 73, resident of Milford, NH, died March 12, 2008 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.� Over a ten-year battle with cancer and with the many prayers of family and friends, she beat the disease.� Many times knocked down, she fought back each time to knock it down.� She ended it on her terms when she was ready.�She was born in Waltham, MA on July 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Diego & Stephanie Delfino.�Mrs. Charbonneau lived in Milford for the past 19 years and formerly resided in Waltham, MA for most of her life.�She had been employed as a secretary for Raytheon Company, Waltham, MA for several years and had also worked at Kenmore Stamp Company, Milford, NH for 15 years.�Mrs. Charbonneau was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and playing bingo.� In addition, she was a communicant of St. Patricks Church, Milford.�She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother.�Mrs. Charbonneau was predeceased by a sister, Jackie Delfino.�Family members include her husband of 44 years, Robert K. Charbonneau of Milford, NH; a son, Thomas R. Charbonneau of Hudson, MA; two daughters, Susan A. Keefe and Nancy A. Ward, both of Waltham, MA; four grandchildren, Eric, Emily, Lily and Sophie; a sister, Dee Dowdy of Waltham, MA; a brother, Joseph Delfino of Waltham, MA; many nieces and nephews.�������Memorial visiting�hours are�Monday, March 17th from 5-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. Patricks Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford.� Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham, MA, at a later date.� Donations in her memory may be made to the SHARE Program, P.O. Box 27, Milford, NH� 03055.� Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford is handling arrangements.�
