Mark W. Altner

Mark W. Altner, 51, resident of Lyndeborough, NH, died suddenly on January 28, 2015 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 24, 1964, a son of Carl Altner of Florida and Dawn (Fuko) Altner of Ronkonkoma, New York. Mark was raised and educated in Ronkonkoma, NY, attended Buffalo University and graduated from Stony Brook University. He made his home in Lyndeborough since 2003, where he had been a member of the School Budget Committee and formerly lived in Kings Park, NY for many years. For most of his working life, he was self-employed as an IT Specialist. Mark loved cooking and listening to music. He was an avid fisherman and was particularly fond of Nubanusit Lake in Hancock, NH. In addition to his parents, family members include his wife of 25 years, Pamela M. (Lasnier) Altner of Lyndeborough; a brother, Robert Altner of NY; a nephew, Guy Altner; several aunts, uncles and many cousins. Memorial visiting hours are on Tuesday, February 3rd from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mark W.
