Marjorie Larpenter

Marjorie (Marge) Larpenter, 79, lifelong resident of Wilton, NH died on January 28, 2018 at Crestwood Healthcare Center, Milford, surrounded by her family. She was born in Antrim, NH on February 6, 1938, a daughter of Frank and Mary (Muzzey) Burbee. Marge graduated from Wilton High School, Class of 1956, and was active in her class reunions. She had been employed as an administrative assistant for PVA-EPVA in Wilton and had worked part time at Illuminart. In her later years, she was Direct Support Person for her niece, Denny. She enjoyed all types of sports, horse pulling at the fairs and most especially loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was a member of the Bent Burke Post #10 American Legion Auxiliary, Wilton, NH, the Eastern Draft Horse Association and the BPW of Greater Milford. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish, Wilton, NH. Marge was predeceased by a brother, Frank Burbee, Jr.; and a sister, Mary Yvonne Rines. Family members include three sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Kathleen Larpenter of Wilton, NH, Dean and Pamela Larpenter of Sunapee, NH , Edward and Sharon Larpenter of Candia, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Gary Haggerty of Greenfield, NH; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helena Vander-Heyden of Milford, NH, Diana Poodiack of Peterborough, NH; a sister-in-law, Jane (Burbee) Provins of Brookline, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and June Burbee of Warner, NH; and a brother-in-law, Everett Rines of Peterborough, NH; 19 nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 3rd from 3:00-5:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A graveside service will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Wilton, NH in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Open Cupboard Pantry, P.O. Box 111, Wilton, NH 03086.
