Marion E. Mochrie

Marion E. Mochrie, 75, lifelong resident of Wilton, NH, died June 19, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH. She was born in Wilton, NH on May 24, 1936, a daughter of the late Edgar A. Whitney, Sr. and Edna (Hall) Whitney and graduated from Wilton High School, Class of 1955. Mrs. Mochrie spent most of her life as a homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed going to yard sales, knitting, crocheting and most especially spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Mochrie; a brother, Edgar A. “Cubby” Whitney, Jr. and a sister, Irene Johnson. Family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Michael Rodgers, Diane and Jason Long, all of Wilton; six grandchildren, Jason Rodgers and his wife, Katrina, Justin, Kristy and Tyler Rodgers, Amber Mochrie and Stephen Long; one great grandchild, Ebben and his father, Aaron Drew.; three brothers, Richard Whitney, Donald Whitney and Ernest Whitney, all of Wilton; a special cousin, David Hall of Wilton; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are Wednesday, June 22nd from 10:00 am -12:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home.
