Marie Mack

Marie Mack, daughter of John Marden and Mary Doldt and beloved wife of Frank Mack passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 84 on August 22, 2024.

She was born on May 22, 1940 in Brookline, Mass. growing up in nearby Reading as she was voted “The Most Popular” by her high school graduates. She soon married raising three children, Paul, Suzette and Michael hosting many family parties on Silver Lake with boating and activities creating fond childhood memories.

Moving to New Boston, New Hampshire in 1980 started a new chapter in her life with the opening of her own business, a pet store named The Fish Bowl in the Milford oval. She worked tirelessly until the “young” age of 83, bringing the love of pets and animal hobbies to families for over 40 years. 

She is predeceased by her parents, her siblings Joan, William, Lois and Jean. 

Family members include her husband, Frank Mack of New Boston, NH; her children, Paul Mack, Suzette Masewic and Michael Mack; grandchildren, Ashley, Brendan, Daniel, Nicholas, Brian; great grandchildren, Shaun, Avalynn and Jonah Masewic; a brother, John Marden. 

 Memorial visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 29th from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A burial will follow in the New Boston Hill Cemetery, New Boston, NH. A gathering will follow at the Molly Stark Tavern and Restaurant, 35 Mont Vernon Road, New Boston, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the ALS Association or the charity of one’s choice.
