Marie E. Robinson

Marie E. Robinson, 86, resident of Bedford, NH, died on December 31, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brighton, MA on April 3, 1926, a daughter of George L. and Christine (Wilde) Sawyer. Mrs. Robinson resided in Bedford for the past four years and formerly made her home in Mont Vernon, NH for many years and enjoyed spending winters in Florida. In her earlier years, she had been employed as a bank teller for Cambridge Savings Bank, Cambridge, MA. Mrs. Robinson was an avid bridge player, loved to garden and attended water aerobics for years at Hampshire Hills. In addition, she volunteered for the Meals on Wheels Program. She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother to her two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin W. Robinson, who died in 2001. Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Bret and Michael Moynihan of Lyndeborough, NH; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Elizabeth Robinson of Bedford, NH; two grandchildren, Brianna Moynihan and Shane Moynihan. All are invited to join the family at a reception in celebration of her life on Sunday, January 6th from 2:00-4:00 pm at Giorgio’s Restaurant, 524 Nashua Street, Milford.
