Marianne Cyr

Marianne (Race, Hodgins) Cyr, 58, of Francestown NH, former resident of Merrimack, NH, recently residing in Florida, died in Florida on Thursday, July 26, 2012. She was born in Worcester, MA on July 20, 1954. Graduate of Cheshire High School, Class of 1972, and attended Paier School of Art. Marianne was a talented artist, her artwork proudly displayed throughout her families’ homes. She was a beach enthusiast, leaving her family with many fond memories of Plum Island and beach adventures. Her smile, infectious, will live on. Wife of Daniel J. Cyr of Francestown, NH; Loving and devoted mother of four daughters, Jessica (Hodgins) Brummer of Milford, NH, Nicole (Hodgins) Kullgren of Francestown, NH, Jaime (Hodgins) Martin of Manchester, NH and Andrea Cyr of Henniker, NH; daughter of Rita June (Breen) and her husband Frank Brown of Hudson, FL and the late Donald R. Race; sister of Donald Race of Cheshire, CT and Patricia (Race) Toth of Southington, CT; also survived by three step sisters and one step brother; aunt of Sean and Michael Race of CT, Kelly (Toth) Zigmunds and Jamie Toth of CT; and Loving Nana to seven grandchildren. Friends and Family are invited to join us for both calling hours and a Memorial Service to celebrate Marianne’s life. Calling hours are on Tuesday, August 7th from 6:00-8:00 in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 8th at 11:00 am in the Community Church, 18 Main Street, Francestown, NH. All are welcome to gather with the family immediately following the Memorial Service at the Church in the downstairs Hall.
