Marguerite J. Theil

Marguerite J. “Marge” Theil, 85, resident of Amherst, NH died September 10, 2017 at her home. She was born in Kincaid, Illinois on August 2, 1932, a daughter of Leopold J. and Lela R. (Durbin) Petit. Marge was a resident of Parkhurst Place in Amherst, NH for the past 15 years and had also lived in Wilton, NH and North Brentwood LI, NY for many years. She had been employed at PVA in Wilton NH for 10 years. She was a communicant of Saint Patrick Church, Milford, NH. Marge enjoyed sewing, gardening and crafts. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, William R. Theil; and a sister, Lillian Bellavia. Family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, Joann and George Waghorn of Saratoga Springs, NY, Denise Theil and her partner Paul Clarke of CT; a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Joanne Theil of Amherst, NH; a sister, Jeanette Renna of Nashua, NH; eight grandchildren, Kristen and Chris, Sr. Marguerite Marie, Michelle, Raymond, Ryan and Samantha, Gregory, Tara and Alex; a great grandson, Patrick Arthur; a sister- in- law and brother- in- law, Dorie and Jack Willoe of Calverton, NY; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 14th from 5:00- 7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Amherst, NH.
