Margaret J. Tower

Margaret J. “Siddy” Tower, 70, resident of Lake Wales, FL, died June 29, 2012 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. She was born in Arlington, VA on September 28, 1941, a daughter of Vincent and Margaret (Hendricks) Swanick. Siddy was raised and educated in Mont Vernon and attended Milford High School. She made her home in Lake Wales for the past eight years and formerly lived in Mont Vernon, NH for most of her life. She loved and was loved dearly by her family and many friends. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, making jewelry, and working on jigsaw puzzles while relaxing on her sun porch in Lake Wales, FL. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey N. Tower. Family members include her husband, best friend and soul mate, Frank N. Tower of Lake Wales, FL with whom she celebrated 51 years of marriage on June 3rd; a daughter, Kelly Tower of Sutton, NH; a son, Michael Tower of Bradford, NH; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Barbara Archibald of Alaska; two brothers-in-law, Bruce and John Tower of NH; many nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on July 21st at 2:00 pm in Green Lawn Cemetery, North Main Street, Mont Vernon, NH.
