Margaret E. Halme

Margaret E. “Maggie” Halme, 68, resident of Dracut, MA died on October 25, 2014 in Milford, NH surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Norfolk, VA on August 31, 1946, a daughter of Oscar and Eleanora (Sinclair) Halme. Margaret was raised and educated in Virginia and made her home in Dracut, MA for many years. She had been employed by Lantheus Medical Imaging in Billerica, MA for more than 25 years. Maggie loved traveling, especially visiting the Bahama’s with her sisters and closest family and friends. Maggie also enjoyed the theatre, going to yard sales, working on arts and crafts with her grandchildren and collecting clothing to send to Native American Heritage Association. She was a selfless person and found great joy in helping others. Maggie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a devoted friend. She attended many of her grandchildren’s events including swimming, soccer, volleyball and basketball games. Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and John Murphy; her son, Eric Bartolomucci all of Milford; four grandchildren, Jordan, Julianna, Andrew and Tyler; three sisters, the late Eleanora “Nora” Glenn of VA, Theresa Moore of OH and Virginia Shaw of VA; several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 30th at 10:00 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Native American Heritage Association.
