Marcel L. Pelletier, 90, resident of Milford, NH, died January 11, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. He was born in Nashua, NH on August 29, 1921, a son of Joseph and Florence (Bechard) Pelletier. Mr. Pelletier resided in Milford for the past several months and formerly made his home in Nashua for most of his life. He had been employed by Hitchiner Manufacturing Company, Milford for many years and had also worked at Diamond Casting Company in Nashua. Mr. Pelletier was an avid woodworker. He was a devout Catholic and longtime communicant of Saint Patrick Church, Nashua, NH. Mr. Pelletier was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was discharged with the rank of Corporal. He was predeceased by his wife, Marguerite C. (Ledoux) Pelletier; and a son, Maurice Pelletier. Family members include two sons, Lucien Pelletier of Whitmore, CA and Louis Paul Pelletier of Goffstown, NH; eight grandchildren; longtime friends and caregivers, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Parker of Milford; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 17th at 9:30 am in Saint Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua, NH. Burial will follow in Saint Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
