Malcolm F. Shea

Malcolm F. Shea, 85, longtime resident of Milford, NH died on March 16, 2023 at the Bedford Hills nursing center after a period of declining health.

He was born on May 17, 1936 in Nashua, NH a son of the late John and Katherine (Davis) Shea.

Malcolm was raised and educated in Wilton, NH. He worked for many years for Metropolitan Life and over 25 years for Raytheon in Andover Massachusetts. He was a member of the Milford Fire Department and a Founding Member of Milford’s Volunteer Ambulance Service. He was a communicant of Saint Patrick's Parish and achieved the level of Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Malcom was also a long-time member of the New Hampshire Ski Patrol. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout New Hampshire. His other hobbies were gardening and camping with his family and friends.

Malcom was predeceased by his daughter and son-in-law, Pam, and William Riehl, two grandsons, William and Sean Riehl and brothers, Robert Shea, and Stanley Shea.

Survivors include his wife, Alicia Shea of Bedford, NH, sister, Sally Young, many nieces and nephews and Dennis Fallon who has cared for Malcolm and his wife for years.

SERVICES: A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH, 03055. A funeral service will follow the visiting hour at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH.
