Louella H. Donaghy

Louella H. Donaghy, 86, resident of Derry, NH, died June 7, 2011 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. She was born in Nashua, NH on January 27, 1925, a daughter of Frank Farin and Ida Hughes. A graduate of Milford High School, Louella was raised in Brookline, NH, where she made her home for over 50 years. She also resided in Greenville, NH for several years and Derry, NH for the past two years. Mrs. Donaghy had been employed by Rodney C. Woodman Florist, Milford, Bemis Bag Company, Pepperell, MA and Hall’s Store, Brookline, NH. She enjoyed round dancing, square dancing and was a member of The Wolf Rockers Square Dance Cub. In addition, she was a member of the Kilduff-Wirtanen Post #74, American Legion Auxiliary, Brookline. Mrs. Donaghy loved to knit and had many items on display in the gift shop at Monadnock Hospital, Peterborough. She was predeceased by a son, Richard “Butch” Montgomery, Jr. Family members include her husband, Robert C. Donaghy of Derry, NH; five daughters, Linda Sorge of Bedford, NH, Kathryn Hale of Norwich, CT, Liz Montgomery of Arlington, MA, Cynthia St. John of New Boston, NH and Patricia Piper of Greenville, NH; two sons, Robert Donaghy, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV and Kenneth Donaghy of Clearfield, UT; 18 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. There are no visiting hours. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 10:00 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Pepperell Road, Brookline on June 25th at 10:00 am. Donations in her memory may be made to Greenville Community Christian Church, P.O.
