Lorren M. Pelletier, 67, lifelong resident of Milford, died on July 5, 2014 at Pheasant Wood Center in Peterborough, NH after a very long illness. He was born in Grasmere, NH on August 8, 1946, a son of George Pelletier and Rosella (Hull) Pelletier Beard and spent most of his childhood on North River Road in Milford with his grandparents. He graduated from Milford High School and went on to serve in the New Hampshire Army National Guard. His entire life was spent around horses. His Grandfather had many working draft horses which is where he learned his training techniques and horsemanship. As a young adult he was very involved in the Morgan horse showing circuit. Lorren owned and operated his welding business on North River Road in Milford for many years before moving to Mont Vernon where he continued. His niche was manufacturing and restoring custom horse trailers. He was predeceased by his brother, George “Buzz” Pelletier; a sister, Katherine Pelletier Dube; and a niece, Joyce Gowell. Family members include his former wife, Christine (Byam) Pelletier Cushman of Franklin, NH; an aunt, Marie Palmer of Hudson, NH; several nieces and nephews including Jackie Staiti of Wilton, NH and Tracey Cullen Goffstown, NH; half brothers, Bill Beard and Cleve Beard, both of Wilton; and his half-sister, Gail Beard; many great nieces and great nephews A memorial visiting hour will be held on Friday, July 11th from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Hillsboro County Agricultural Fair, P.O. Box 391, New Boston, NH 03070.
