Loretta M. Pollock

Loretta M. Pollock 83, resident of Jaffrey, NH died on November 2, 2015 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Jaffrey, NH. She was born in Lawrence, MA on November 25, 1931, a daughter of Kenneth and Ethel M. (Dickie) Pollock. She was raised and educated in Wilton, NH and graduated from Wilton High School, Class of 1949. Ms. Pollock earned her Bachelors’ Degree in 1953 and Master’s Degree in 1973 in Education from Keene State College. In addition, she received her second Master’s Degree in Administration from Keene State College. She had been employed as a Guidance Counselor for the Ledyard, CT School District for more than 20 years. Ms. Pollock enjoyed traveling and especially going on cruises and had sailed on The Queen Mary and QE2. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph K. Pollock and Robert Pollock of Wilton, NH and a sister, Sarah Pollock Wyman-Mack. Family members include a brother, Wendell Pollock of Keene, NH; and many nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on December 5th at 11:00 am in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Abbot Hill Road, Wilton, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Good Shepherd Nursing Home Activities Fund or Employees Benefit Fund, 20 Plantation Drive, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
