Lois F. Behrer

Lois F. Behrer, 88, resident of Milford, NH died peacefully in her sleep on December 24, 2015. She was born in New Rochelle, New York on March 1, 1927, the daughter of Leroy D. and Lydia E. (Boccaccio) Fletcher. Prior to moving to Milford two years ago, she made her home on Cape Cod since 1971. Mrs. Behrer enjoyed knitting, sewing and working on crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She and her husband as long time members of the Brewster Baptist Church were very active in the Caring Cupboard Pantry. She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin H. Behrer, Jr., who died in 2013 and a brother, L. Douglas Fletcher. Family members include four children and their spouses, Nancy B. and Curtis R. Darragh of Milford, NH, David H. and Janice D. Behrer of Bedford, NH, Dorothy B. and Richard S. Walter of Davenport, FL, Cynthia B. and Paul F. Waple of North Attleboro, MA; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Leah B. Fletcher; and a brother-in-law, Douglas F. Fash, Jr. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
