Lloyd W. Linzell, 86, a longtime resident of Milford, NH, passed away on September 28, 2015 following lengthy illnesses. Born in Oak Park, IL on October 2, 1928, he was a son of Harry K. and Esther (Early) Linzell. He was predeceased by his wife; “the love of his life” Joyce A. (Kenny) Linzell, who died in 2009. Lloyd was educated in Engineering and worked in the defense and commercial sectors; he was employed by Kollsman Inc. for several years prior to retirement. Additional employment and interests included real estate and property management. He was an intellectual man and enjoyed thought provoking conversations spanning numerous topics of interest. He was a news junkie and always on top of current events. He liked gardening, cooking, reading, day trips with Joyce and loved to watch the Patriots football games. He was not a member of a church however believed in the Christian faith. Family members include his six children; Carol Young of Danville, NH, Theresa Ford of Peru SA, Catherine Kuusisto of Milford, NH, Loren Marsh of Parma Heights, OH, Christine Martel of Nashua, NH; and Daniel Linzell of Concord, NH. He also has several grandchildren, his sister; Marcella Childers of Georgia and is predeceased by his brother Herb Linzell of Ohio. His family also includes Joyce’s children; Scott Parker (recently deceased), Debbie Champagne, Tracy Gerlack and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th at 11:00 am in the Bridge Community Church, 65 West Street, Milford, NH.
