Linda M. Lizotte

Linda M. Lizotte, 60, of Milford, NH, received eternal peace on Thursday, July 14, 2022, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer for nearly eight years. Those diagnosed with this disease do not expect to exceed a year, but Lynn’s sheer determination and remarkable strength is why many have proclaimed her a true miracle. Lynn’s family and friends are eternally grateful that her recent health decline was softened by the outstanding care provided by “Home Health & Hospice Care” of Merrimack, NH, to ensure she would retain her quality of life and conclude it in the comfort of her home. Lynn lived a life full of laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love. She was happiest when she spent time amongst her greatest loves, her friends, family, and especially her pets. Lynn had a great passion for saving animals, and dogs always held a special place in her heart. Though she leaves behind her rescued dachshund, Odie, with whom the two shared an inseparable bond, she is now reunited with her animal companions, who have preceded her in eternal life. Aside from her love of animals, Lynn thrived on making her peers feel wholesome and happy just as well. She was an exceptional storyteller and loved making people laugh. Lynn had some of the best humor to come across and was always cracking the best jokes ever heard or telling an old family story that would light up any occasion. She was undoubtedly the best person to brighten anyone's day with the exceptional humor she was gifted. Lynn was also an incredible artist with a keen eye for detail. She enjoyed gift-making through her love of crafts, painting, and knitting. She even expressed her creativity through the art of baking and cake decorating. These are just a few of the many characteristics which made Lynn the extraordinary, thoughtful, and beautiful woman many have come to cherish and love. Lynn passed away peacefully at home through the loving care and support of her only daughter, Ceralene Lizotte, of Milford, NH. She is now graciously joined with her predeceased father, Richard H. Fleury of Sound Beach, NY. Lynn is survived by her beloved mother, Ellen B. Fleury of Sound Beach, NY, her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Louise Fleury of Eastport, NY, her former husband and good friend Jeffery Lizotte of Goffstown, NH, several cousins, and numerous close-knit friends who have come to know her as a part of their family. Lynn also leaves hundreds of beloved colleagues at Connection (PC Connection) in Merrimack, NH, where she applied her numerous talents for 24 years in the leadership capacity of Office Services Manager and, more recently, as Manager of Facilities Project Coordination. Lynn had a heart of gold with a soul to match. She was a warrior and an inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by so many. In lieu of flowers, we ask donations to be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), in honor of Lynn and her courageous battle, as well as the Best Friends Animal Society, to continue her legacy of supporting animal welfare. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 23rd from 12-3pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 24th at 2:00pm at the Christ's Church of Amherst, 58 Merrimack Road, Amherst, NH.
