Linda L. Stearns

Linda L. Stearns, 68, resident of Goffstown, NH died on October 10, 2016 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home (HCNH), Goffstown, NH. She was born in Boston, MA on July 26, 1948, a daughter of Fred and Mary (Ryan) Grover. She was raised and educated in West Roxbury, MA and had made her home in Sharon, MA for many years and more recently resided in Manchester, NH. Linda spent most of her working life helping others. She was an LNA and previously worked at the Wrentham State School in MA. She loved gardening, watching and feeding the birds, reading, especially spending time with her family, being together for the holidays and playing video games. She was a caring & loving mother, friend with a fun personality that everyone enjoyed. Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tamara M. and Peter Kucmas of New Boston, NH; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy J. Stearns and Laurie Warren of New Boston, NH; Daniel M. Stearns and Jason M. Stearns, both of Billerica, MA and five grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Ralph Stover of Holliston, MA, Barbara and Mark Gorham of Franklin, MA, and Tina Grover of Hanson, MA, a brother, Christopher Grover of E. Weymouth, MA; many nieces and nephews; and her loving extended family at HCNH. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, October 15th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, NH. Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, NH. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford.
