Leslie E. Theberge, 53, resident of Milford, died on July 22, 2014 at her home following a brief illness. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on July 18, 1961, a daughter of William and Helen J. (Hanson) Bankhead, who predeceased her. Leslie was raised in a military family, educated in Pensacola, Florida, and resided in Westford, MA as a young adult. She is survived by her husband, Paul, and they have made their home in Milford, NH for the past 13 years. Leslie was devoted to her animals and is survived by her “kids” (cats and ferrets). She had a heart of gold that extended beyond her pets, to her family and friends. She is also survived by her five sisters, Melanie Felton of Douglasville, GA, Shelley Hanson of Montgomery, AL, Cheryl Zehentner of Gulf Shores, AL, Allison Karabatsos of Grayslake, IL, her twin sister, Laurie Babcock of Leominster, MA; two brothers, William Bankhead of Lusby, MD and Michael Bankhead of Louisville, KY; as well as many nieces and nephews. At her request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064.
