Larry Brodsky

Larry Brodsky, 72, longtime resident of Amherst, NH died on March 24, 2016 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New York on August 24, 1943, a son of David and Helen (Bernstein) Brodsky. He was raised and educated in New York and graduated from the Pratt Institute in New York. Larry and his wife owned and operated Country Heritage Tours for 28 years, a quilting tour specialist company. He enjoyed golfing, skiing and cooking but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Larry was predeceased by his wife and the love of his life, Cheryl P. (Drake) Brodsky, who died in 2014. Family members include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ryan P. Brodsky of New York City, Corey and Nicole Brodsky of Ridgefield, CT and Scott L. Brodsky of Milford, NH; two grandchildren, Grayson and Hayden; a sister, Maxine Altman of Long Island, NY. Memorial visiting hours are on Wednesday, March 30th from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.
