Kurt Henry Steinbrecher died unexpectedly on July 12th, 2024, at his residence. He was only 52 years old. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Kurt was born on Dec 11th, 1971.
Kurt is survived and missed by his wife, Luanne Stivali, of 11 years, and his children, Zachary Steinbrecher, Victoria Steinbrecher, and Nicole Carson, and his stepson, Tyler Adams. He is forever adored and remembered by his four grandchildren: Camille and Julian Gilchrist, Daisy Carson, and soon-to-be Wyatt Adams. His memory will be cherished by his brothers, Fred and Christian Steinbrecher, his wife, Lisa Steinbrecher, his sister, Barbara Steinbrecher, and her partner, Sharon Piantedosi.
He was preceded by his father, Frederick Steinbrecher, his mother, Joan Steinbrecher, and his father-in-law, Louis Stivali.
He was born in Franklin, Massachusetts, and spent his childhood in Amherst, New Hampshire, before finding a more permanent home in Milford.
Kurt enjoyed the work he did in multiple professions, including Sales and Headhunting, but he found most of his joy in leading a team of individuals to success, no matter what the role. Whether you liked him or not, he was always that helpful hand you could look for.
In his youth, he spent plenty of time in school programs, including the local DECA program, and as a wide receiver for the high school football team. Shortly after graduating, he volunteered at the Amherst Fire Department for five years.
Kurt enjoyed collecting Star Wars figures, pictures, and Legos, as well as model cars, Sports cards of all varieties, and memorabilia. Rounding out his nerdy personality was being a superhero fanatic.
He enjoyed taking the top off the Mercedes and just getting to drive around with his wife, always looking for a new adventure and exploring the back roads of New England.
Kurt will be loved and missed by all who got the chance to know him as the amazing Father, Husband, Grandfather and Friend that he was.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 17th from 5:00pm-8:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford.
