Kristan A. Crow, 39, resident of Alfred, Maine died on April 10, 2023 at her home. She is survived by her three children, who made up the entirety of her world, Cailin, Aiden and Ava.
She was born in Nashua, NH on July 25, 1983, a daughter of Paul J. Gibbons of Wilton, NH and the late Michele Gaulden.
Kristan was raised and educated in Milford, NH and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 2001. She made her home in Maine for the past 10 years.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kristan. She loved quiet evenings with family and often lengthy debates about life events and family history. She had an uncanny ability to find joy in her daily activities simply by being surrounded by the people she loved. She always took pride in educating and expanding her knowledge driven by the encouragement of her late grandfather Daniel Carlson “Poppy”. Kristan loved spending time in the kitchen, and creating meals for her family, she was intimadating to cook for as her mastery was unmatchable in taste and presentation. She shared a special bond with each of her nieces and nephews and held such pride in being an auntie. Kristan made it her mission to always honor the memory of her late sister Allison Whalon, she highlighed Ally in all corners of her home and annual “Ally Christmas Tree”. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered to her.
In addition to her father, family members include; her sister Rachael Daley of Eliot, ME and her husband Bill Daley and children Cameron, Liam, Jameson and Evelyn. Brother Justin Whalon of San Diego, CA and his wife Julie Whalon and children Holland, Quinton and Amelia. Sister Kelsey Barr of Goffstown, NH and her husband Stephen Barr and children Alivia and Emilie. Sister Ashley Gibbons of Pataskala, OH and her husband Scott Elliot. And her Brother Zachary Gibbons of Wilton, NH.
