Kevin L. Menken, 53, resident of West Deering, NH, died on August 16, 2017 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. He was born in Mankato, MN on October 1, 1963, a son of LaVern and Bonita (Dehmlow) Menken. He made his home in Bingham Lake, MN for most of his life and more recently moved to Robin Hill Farm in West Deering, NH in 2016. While living in Minnesota, he had been employed as a restaurant manager at Bonnie Jeans Café. He also delivered prescriptions to the homebound and elderly in the rural area for a small pharmacy in Windom, MN. Kevin was a movie critic, enjoyed history, was Sci-Fi buff, he liked reading, and enjoyed all types of music, especially the “oldies”. In addition, he enjoyed all of the community activities at Robin Hill Farm, where he lived. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother-in-law, Larry Smith and great-niece Emily Rose Abbott. Family members include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Daisy D. Smith of Hazard, KY, Kellie-Sue and Dave Boissonnault of Wilton, NH; a brother, Kenneth L. “Kip” Menken of Ravenel, SC; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his Robin Hill Farm family. A memorial service will be held on August 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillsboro United Methodist Church, 16 Henniker Street, Hillsboro, New Hampshire. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Windom, MN, at a later date.
