Kevin J. Quinn

Kevin J. Quinn, 84, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died on June 4, 2017 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. He was born in Lowell, MA on April 12, 1933, the only child of Michael F. and Teresa (Slattery) Quinn. He was raised and educated in Lowell, MA and made his home in Milford for more than 50 years. Mr. Quinn had been employed as a compositor for the Currier Citizen for 30 years and later retired from Anheuser-Busch, Merrimack, NH in 1995. In his earlier years, he had served as the Director for the Milford Community Athletic Association and coached baseball and basketball. He enjoyed reading, playing golf and loved spending time at the beach. In addition, he was an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and especially the Boston Celtics. Mr. Quinn was predeceased by a son, Brian M. Quinn and a daughter, Veronica Quinn. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family and he faithfully attended his grandkids school and sporting events. Family members include his wife of 55 years, Maryann (Ciuffetti) Quinn of Milford; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Quinn of San Jose, CA, David Quinn of San Francisco, CA, Michael and Shawna Quinn of Milford; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sheila Shaw, and Heather and Randy Fortin, all of Milford; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial visiting hours are on Sunday, June 11th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A memorial mass will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.
