Kathleen M. Marcinuk

Kathleen M. Marcinuk, 75, resident of New Boston, NH, died on October 10, 2018 at her home. She was born in Lawrence, MA on January 16, 1943, daughter of Thomas C. and Kathleen (Foley) May. She made her home in New Boston for the past 40 years and formerly lived in Hampstead, NH for 15 years. Mrs. Marcinuk had been employed as an LPN at Bon Secours Hospital, Methuen, MA and had also worked as a library aide at Whipple Free Library and teacher’s aide at New Boston Central School. She was a member of Young Mothers Club in Hampstead, NH. The town of New Boston will remember her as Past President and Treasurer of Friends of the Whipple Free Library and her volunteer work as a ballot clerk during both town and country elections. Mrs. Marcinuk was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Milford. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Adam J. Marcinuk, who died on March 14, 2018. They are now reunited in heaven, and her family finds peace in knowing they are together again. Family members include two daughters, Karen Post and husband Eric of Barrington, NH and Christine Gillis of Hudson, NH; a son, Adam J. Marcinuk and wife Delia of Lyndeborough, NH; seven grandchildren, Ryan Gillis, Alicia Leone, Nora, Joseph, Justin and Michael Marcinuk, and Axel Post; a great grandson, Logan Leone; sister, Dianne Stoehrer and husband Bob of Lawrence, MA; brother, Thomas C. May and wife Joni of Derry, NH; half-sister Noreen Manzo and Mike of Barnstable, MA; half-brother John Garrity and wife Debbie of Medford, MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no visiting hours. A funeral mass followed by a memorial gathering will both be held on Thursday, October 25 at 11am in St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers, her children suggest donations to honor the memory of both parents be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
