June L. Fraize

June L. (Ballard) Fraize, 81, resident of Meredith, NH, died on February 7, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Framingham, MA on September 5, 1932, a daughter of Hugh and Madeline (Carver) Ballard. She resided at Meredith Bay Colony Club for a short time and formerly made her home in Ashland, NH for 13 years and lived for many years in Warren Amherst, Milford and Lyndeborough, NH. June graduated from Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1953 and had worked at the hospital for nine years. In addition, she had also been employed as a nurse for Dr. Wallace Buttrick in Nashua, NH and Greenbriar Nursing Home. She enjoyed photography, ceramics, gardening, camping, canoeing, shoveling snow and spending time with her golden retrievers. Family members include her loving husband of 50 years, Robert W. Fraize of Meredith; a brother-in-law, John Fraize of Sudbury, MA; a niece, Deborah Fraize of Cambridge, MA. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in South Cemetery, Lyndeborough, NH.
