Judy Currie

Judy Currie,76, passed away on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at the Crestwood Nursing Home in Milford, NH with her husband James “Ray” at her side. She was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada on December 9, 1939, to Eli and Nellie (Young) Andrecyk. For eight years, she worked at the Crestwood Nursing Home and for twenty-one years she was employed at the Holt Insurance Agency in Milford. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James “Ray” Currie; her four sons and daughters-in-law, Nelson and Kris Currie, Kevin and Jegn Currie, Brad Currie, Brian and Lisa Currie. Judy was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Jaelynn, Autumn and Benjamin. A fourth grandchild will be welcomed into the family in January. She also leaves behind three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Terry McKinnon of Ottawa, Ontario, Shelia and Fred Tobin of Edson, Alberta, Linda MacNeil of Kitchener, Ontario; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Linda Andrecyk of Brockville, Ontario, Ronnie and Marian Andrecyk of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia; many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the compassionate staff at the Crestwood Nursing Home and the Hospice Staff for the care they gave to Judy and the emotional support they provided to the family. Special thanks go out to Shirley Levesque, Judy’s longtime friend for the ongoing support and compassion she gave to Judy and family over her long term illness. All services will be private.
