Joseph “Brad” Sullivan, Jr., 42, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died on February 7, 2015 at his home. He was born in Medford, MA on June 28, 1972, a son of Joseph B. Sullivan, Sr. and Margaret B. (Walsh) Sullivan. Brad was raised and educated in Amherst and earned his Associate’s Degree in Forestry from Paul Smith’s College in New York. He was self-employed and worked extremely hard in the logging industry for more than 20 years. When he wasn’t working, Brad enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing, riding his Harley and playing with his German Shepherds. Brad was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Milford and had served as an altar boy. He was a loving son, devoted brother, uncle and nephew who most especially enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents of Wilton, NH, family members include a sister and brother-in-law, Maryjo and John Greene of Bedford, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, Sean and Susan Sullivan of Portsmouth, NH; his fiancé, Jodi Webster of Amherst, NH; five nieces and nephews, Liam, Timothy and Sean Greene, Kylie and Shea Sullivan; several aunts, uncles and cousins.. Calling hours are on Thursday, February 12th from 2:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will be in the spring.
