John R. Wahl

John R. Wahl, 84, resident of Nashua, died on December 7, 2013 at Crestwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Milford. He was born in Paxico, KS on October 19, 1929, a son of John A. and Henrietta (Witt) Wahl. Mr. Wahl resided in Concord, MA and Leominster, MA for many years, later moving to Nashua, NH and making his home in Milford for the past several years. Mr. Wahl owned and operated John R. Wahl Glass Company in Lexington, MA for many years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed attending the annual Minuteman Ball, Concord, MA. Mr. Wahl was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1957 with the rank of Hospital Corpsman Second Class. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita (Gervais) Wahl, who died in 2012. Family members include three sons, John D. Wahl, Michael R. Wahl and Kevin J. Wahl; a daughter, Donna M. Sadkowski; three grandchildren, Jessica Hartley, Anna Wahl and Sam Wahl; a sister, Kathleen A. Ball Hamilton; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Wahl; many nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. Private services with military honors will be held in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon, MA.
