John L. Milligan

John L. Milligan, 55, longtime resident of Hillsborough, NH, died July 24, 2012 at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH. He was born in Ayer, MA on October 30, 1956, a son of Hazel (Gunn) Milligan of Mont Vernon, NH and the late Robert L. Milligan. Mr. Milligan was raised and educated in Mont Vernon and graduated from Milford Area Senior High, Class of 1975. He was employed by Monadnock Paper Mill, Bennington, NH for the past 25 years and had worked as a warehouse manager. He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved spending time with his family, most especially with his grandson, Jacoby and granddaughter, Jada. Mr. Milligan was predeceased by a brother, George Milligan and a sister, Roberta Milligan. In addition to his mother, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jessica Milligan of Concord, NH; two daughters, Joanna Milligan of San Francisco, CA and Rebecca Milligan of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Jada Milligan and Jacoby Milligan; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Clayton Milligan and Bryce Milligan, both of Florida, James and Janice Milligan of Londonderry, NH and Blanche Milligan of Amherst,NH; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Laurie and David Gates of Meredith, NH, Donna Mangold of Nashua, NH, Ruth and George Infanti of Amherst, NH; many nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 4:00 pm in the Mont Vernon Congregational Church, 4 South Main Street, Mont Vernon, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
