John J. Molinari, 71, resident of Mont Vernon, NH, died at Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA, after a period of declining health on May 29, 2024.
He was born on January 21, 1953, in Medford, MA, a son of the late George and Eleanora (Cirillo) Molinari.
John grew up in Billerica, MA, where he received his education and developed his passions for hunting, fishing, playing the bass guitar, and hockey. One fateful afternoon at Winnings Pond, he crossed paths with Mary, the love of his life. Their meeting marked the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Two years later, they exchanged vows and embarked on a marriage that spanned over 51 years.
During their decades together, they raised their daughters and graciously opened their home to friends and family. John dedicated 35 years of his career to National Grid before retiring in 2013. Following his retirement, he and Mary relocated to NH to be closer to their loved ones.
To those who knew him, John was affectionately known as "Papa," his life revolving around his cherished family. He was a constant presence at his grandchildren's games, meets, recitals, and shows, eagerly supporting and cheering them on. His commitment to his family was unwavering, often seen walking between events at his grandchildren's schools to ensure he didn't miss a single moment with them.
When not enveloped in family activities, John found joy in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, kayaking, and running. His zest for life and love for his family left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, John, was predeceased by his twin brother, James Molinari.
