John H. Hapgood

John H. Hapgood, 51, resident of Nashua, NH, died on September 19, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH. He was born in Lynn, MA on November 6, 1961, a son of Martha (Holt) Mulvey of Milford, NH and the late Brooke Hapgood. John lived in Nashua for several years and formerly made his home in Milford for most of his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved animals and working on his computer. He enjoyed spending time at the family camp on Lake Winnisquam boating, fishing and sailing. In addition to his mother, family members include his wife, Diana (Dean) Hapgood of Mont Vernon; two sons, Zachary Hapgood and Jack Hapgood; and a daughter, Emily Hapgood, all of Mont Vernon, NH. Visiting hours are on Monday, September 23rd from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
