Joan H. Wheeler

Joan H. Wheeler, 83, resident of Bedford, NH, died July 24, 2008 at Ridgewood Nursing Home, Bedford, NH.� She was born in Nashua, NH on June 10, 1925, a daughter of the late Paul & Doris (Stronach) Hutchinson.� She was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1943.������������������� � Mrs. Wheeler resided in Bedford for the past 58 years.� She was an avid reader, loved to cook and enjoyed vacationing in Aruba.� Mrs. Wheeler was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother.� She was predeceased by her husband, Donald W. Wheeler, a brother, Paul "Bud" Hutchinson and a sister, Sandra Fontaine.� Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Eddie Ranger of Bedford, NH; a granddaughter, Heidi Newbold and her husband, Doug of Bedford, NH; and a great grandson, Colin D. Newbold of Bedford, NH.� There are no visiting hours.� A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th at 10:30 am in Bedford Center Cemetery, Church Road, Bedford, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Bedford Animal Rescue League, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110 or Bedford Fire Fighters Association, 55 Constitution Drive, Bedford, NH� 03110.
