Joan C. Ursin

Joan C. Ursin, 71, resident of Milford, NH, died April 28, 2009 at her home. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 1, 1937, a daughter of the late William & Margaret (Gulbrandsen) Ursin. She was raised and educated in Chicago. Joan resided in Milford for the past 15 years and formerly lived in Nashua, NH. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and long walks throughout the downtown area. In addition, she loved to cook and bake. Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Scott and Debra Levine of Nashua, NH; four grandchildren, Valerie, Stephanie, Eric and Erika; a great granddaughter, Isabelle Ann; a brother, Philip Ursin of Rockford, IL; several nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A Remembrance Luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 9th at 12:00 noon in the Community Room at Granite Square, 161 Bridge Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064-8109.
