Jeffrey C. Peck

Jeffrey Caldwell Peck was born to Bernard and Peggy Peck of Needham, Massachusetts on April 24th, 1949. He passed away suddenly on July 27th, 2024, in Brookline, NH. Jeffrey is survived by his two brothers Richard Peck (of Hudson, MA) and Bernard Peck (of Medway, MA), and his three children, Michael, Jessica, and Timothy Peck.

Jeffrey attended Needham High School where he showcased his athleticism on the football and track teams. His natural talent and dedication to sports lead him to win countless awards, recognitions, and state titles. After graduation, Jeffrey started traveling the country seeking adventure and learning as many trades as possible. He eventually returned to Massachusetts, where he met the love of his life, Leslie Small. They were wed on September 19, 1982, and only separated by her passing in 2014, due to a long battle with cancer.

After marriage, agriculture and horticulture became his career choice. He raised his family on multiple farms in Massachusetts, teaching them the value and reward of hard work. After he retired from farming, he became a dedicated employee of North Hill, in Needham, MA as the Superintendent of Grounds for more than 30 years, retiring in 2023.

Hunting, fishing, and camping in Vermont were some of his favorite activities. He was a fan of classic rock and roll, old-school methods to accomplish any task, and just about anything with an engine. Known for being the greatest storyteller, having an infectious laugh, and being the life of the party, he could always bring a smile to anyone's face.

His passion for sports continued when his children became of age to coach. This led to Jeffrey coaching multiple sports for countless leagues, organizations, and schools. From 1997 to 2017, he committed himself to teaching the love of football to countless children and young adults throughout southern New Hampshire. He respectfully and fondly earned the nickname, Coach.

Celebration of life services are to be determined at this time. Details will be released at a later date.
