Jeannette M. Leavitt

Jeannette M. Leavitt “AJ”, 63, resident of Merrimack, died on April 5, 2014 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Nashua, NH on September 6, 1950, a daughter of Ray A.E. and Evelyn M. (Sullivan) Tupper. She was raised and educated in Merrimack. Jeannette had worked as a waitress at Howard Johnson’s Restaurant in Nashua for many years. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kierra R. Walker “Kiki”; two sisters, Donna Mailloux and Margaret Hirth; two brothers, Daniel Sullivan and Bruce Tupper. Jeannette enjoyed playing bingo, craft projects and shopping with her older sister. She also loved to cook especially for her family, friends, and her many nieces and nephews. She was also a talented cake decorator and took great pride in the cakes that she decorated. She was an amazing woman, a loving mother, devoted grandmother and most of all she loved spending time with her family. Family members include two daughters, Trisha Leavitt of Merrimack, Jessica Chase and her husband, Mark of Lyndeborough, NH; a granddaughter, Erica-Lee Leavitt of Merrimack; a sister, Theresa Ladue and her husband, Kenneth of Merrimack; two brothers, James Tupper and his wife, Emily of Merrimack and Robert Sullivan; many nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting hours are on Monday, April 14th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am in Edgewood Cemetery, Amherst Street, Nashua.
