Jeanne C. Devlin, 76, resident of Amherst, NH, died January 23, 2008 at her home. � She was born in Salem, MA on October 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Norman R. & Lucienne I. (Ledoux) Auger. � Mrs. Devlin had been a resident of Amherst for the past 37 years and formerly resided in Danvers, MA. � She graduated from Boston School of Design and was self-employed as an Interior Decorator for many years. � Mrs. Devlin was an accomplished artist whose passion was oil painting.��� Additionally, she was a member of the Amherst Art Association. � She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Milford. � Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.�She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother. � She was predeceased by her husband, John H. Devlin, III, who died in 2006 and a sister, Helene Martin. � Family members include her four sons and daughters-in-law, J. Michael &. & Maureen Devlin of Framingham, MA, Mark A. Devlin of Bethlehem, CT, Timothy J. & Margaret Devlin of Stamford, CT, James P. & Maraqueila Devlin of Sao Paulo, Brazil; five grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Norman & Dorothy Auger of East Bloomfield, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Denise & Clem Desjardins of Salem, MA; several nieces and nephews; and her goddaughter, Beth Charbonnier of Marblehead, MA. � � � � � � � Calling hours are Friday, January 25th from 5-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.�A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH.�Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Amherst, in the spring.�In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to your local chapter of The Arc (Association of Retarded Citizens) or www.thearc.org.��
