Jeanette M. "Nunnie" Stimson

Jeanette M. “Nunnie” Stimson, 83, lifelong resident of Milford, died on April 27, 2015 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. She was born in Milford on February 10, 1932, a daughter of Archie D. Carpentieri, Sr. and Mary (Paro) Carpentieri. Nunnie enjoyed playing horseshoes, was an avid Boston Celtics and New York Yankees fan. She also enjoyed poker nights at her trailer with the gang and a few natty lights. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford. A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Nunnie is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Premo of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Jeffrey Stimson of Tracy, CA and Peter Stimson of Milford, NH; two grandchildren, Joseph Premo of Alaska and Joshua Stimson of CA; a brother, Archie D. Carpentieri, Jr. of Milford; several nieces and nephews. There are no services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
